About me
I’m a content specialist who partners with designers and stakeholders to build tools that balance user needs with business goals. My work lives at the intersection of clarity, systems thinking, and collaboration, whether I’m shaping product flows in Figma or defining voice and messaging strategy. I’m equally comfortable leading content strategy initiatives, with experience spanning employer branding and go-to-market work.
I began my career in communications, learning the ins and outs of the federal government, print and digital advertising, and choosing the right shoes for both commuting and the office. Later, as a teacher working with students new to the U.S., I watched teens perform Shakespeare in three languages, took the Metro to Smithsonian museums and Nats games, and improved my Spanish to a conversational level through daily use.
Along the way, I’ve worked in restaurants, starting with my first job a young teen. In service environments from high-volume supper clubs to wine-focused fine dining, I learned to anticipate needs, communicate clearly under pressure, and build trust quickly. Hospitality sharpened my instincts for timing, tone, and clarity, and I bring those lessons to my work each day.
I continue to refine my UX craft through by working with a women in content design mentorship group, where we workshop product challenges, exchange feedback, and push toward more inclusive, effective experiences.
In my spare time, I take on home fermentation projects in my Brooklyn kitchen, ride my bike to the beach, watch tennis, and work toward visiting every natural wine bar in the city.
